Banana Bread - quick and easy

Banana Bread is a cake type dessert that's easy to make even for beginners in the kitchen.

If you like banana's, then this desert is for you. You can enjoy it for breakfast alongside a coffee.

Ingredients: 100g of soft butter, 140g of sugar, a beaten egg, 225g of flour, two teaspoons of baking powder, 3-4 bananas, 80g of walnuts, 50ml of cow milk.

Preparation steps

  1. You chop the walnuts into very small pieces and mix them together with the peeled banana pieces until a consistent mix
  2. Add everything in a bowl with the milk, egg and sugar and mix using a mixer until you get a nice even consistency. On top of this, add the flour and baking powder, in small portions at a time, to prevent lumps from forming.
  3. Pour the composition into baking molds and bake them at 180ºC for an hour.

You can serve them hot or cold with a glass of milk or hot chocolate.

For added flavor you can mix in a tablespoon of honey as well.
